Evolution of Keystone Flora

Evolution of Keystone Flora

One year before we opened Keystone Flora in 2006, our shed looked like this. We started the cleanup and working on it.

Our prairie planting the first year using groundcloth to suppress weeds. This would have worked well if we had removed it the next spring, but we did not and weeds started to grow on top of it.

We started to propagate our stock of native plants in conetainers, groove tubes and flats. Our shade houses started going up one by one to protect the plants from the hot sun.

Our nursery looks like this now, after ten years and a lot of work.
